STudio Dance Australia
In her (previous) day job as a counsellor counselling children and young people in her local area of Marayong and Kings Park, Christa Tate (nee Anthony) felt she could further contribute to her local community by opening a dance studio, with her vision being to share her joy of dance in a safe and welcoming environment for all children and young people. So, with this in mind SDA was first established in February 2009 in a local school hall. By October 2010 SDA relocated to its current premises in Kings Park servicing surrounding suburbs including Blacktown, Quakers Hill, Kings Langley, Marayong, Stanhope Gardens, Seven Hills and The Ponds. Most new business is by referral; this is rewarding and substantiates SDA as a leader in its field.
Relocating allowed SDA to expand and add more classes which led us to transform from a Dance Studio to a Performing Arts Studio, introducing other art forms/genres. Classes include: Ballet (Contemporary/Lyrical), Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Singing, Drama, Musical Theatre, Special Needs Jazz, Adults Jazz, Adults Tap and a Performance Team.
